Lift for your cabin
Hafjell, Kvitfjell, Skeikampen, Sjusjøen, Nordseter and the mountains around Lillehammer.
Own a cabin in the mountains around Lillehammer? We rent lifts to cabin owners and the tradespeople who work for them — for staining log walls, cleaning gutters, fitting snow guards, chimney work, solar panels and trimming trees close to the cabin.
Which lift for a cabin?
- Trailer lift, 10–13 m: enough for most cabins. Towed behind a car and set up in minutes. See trailer lifts and the reach calculator.
- Tracked lift: for slopes, lawns and soft ground. It drives on tracks and levels itself on uneven ground.
- Articulating lift: when you need to reach up and over a terrace or a roof.
Access in the mountains
Cabin roads are often narrow and steep, with barriers and little room to turn. Some roads have weight limits in spring when the ground thaws. Tell us the road and the site before delivery, and check that your car has the power and weight for the hills if you tow the lift yourself.
Season
The snow-free half of the year is best for outdoor work. Winter jobs need a cleared and gritted road. Cabin areas are busy in holidays and at weekends, so book early.

Questions and answers
Can I tow the lift up to my cabin?
Often yes, with the smallest trailer lifts. Check your car’s towing capacity and that it can handle the hills. Otherwise we deliver.
The ground around my cabin is steep. What then?
A tracked lift drives on soft ground and levels itself on slopes. Send us a photo and we will suggest the right lift.
Do you speak English?
Yes. Everyone here speaks English, and training on the lift can be given in English.
