Trailer lift rental
Towable boom lifts from 10 to 21 metres — easy to transport, quick to set up.
A trailer lift (also called a towable boom lift) is the most rented lift for houses, cabins and smaller buildings. You tow it behind a car, set it up on its outriggers in a few minutes, and work safely from the platform. We have Dino and Omme trailer lifts from 10.5 to 21 metres working height.
Reach calculator: will the lift reach?
Enter how far out and how high you need to work. Outreach is measured from the centre of the lift, and the outriggers stick out about 2 metres on each side.
Working height is where your hands reach, about 2 m above the platform floor. The working range is read from the manufacturers’ own charts (Dinolift and Omme Lift) for one person in the platform, and rounded. With two people and tools the lift reaches less. We always check against the lift’s own chart before you rent.

Read from the Dinolift and Omme Lift charts and rounded. “Out” is the maximum outreach with the load in the table. With more load the lift reaches less. Check your job →

Our trailer lifts weigh from 950 kg (Dino 105TL) to 2,590 kg (Dino 210XTB). Two things decide whether you can tow one yourself:
- The car: the maximum braked trailer weight is in the registration papers.
- The licence: with a class B licence you can tow more than 750 kg only if the car and trailer together have a permitted total weight of 3,500 kg or less. With code 96 the limit is 4,250 kg. With class BE the trailer can weigh up to 3,500 kg.
If it does not add up, we deliver the lift to the site.
Space and ground
With the outriggers out, a trailer lift needs 3.5 to 4.3 metres of width. It must stand on firm, level ground. On soft ground or slopes, a tracked lift is often the better choice — call us and describe the site.
Questions and answers
How is outreach measured?
From the centre of the lift (the turntable). The outriggers stick out about 2 metres on each side, so the centre of the lift is never right up against the wall.
Which trailer lift should I choose for a two-storey house?
For gutters and walls on a normal two-storey house, a 10 to 13 m trailer lift is usually enough. If the lift has to stand away from the wall, choose one with more outreach. Use the reach calculator above.
Do you have manuals and data sheets?
Yes. Each lift page has the manufacturer’s working range chart, data sheet and operator’s manual, in Norwegian and English.
Can I collect the lift on a Saturday?
Our depots in Moelv, Lom and Flisa are open on Saturdays. Call us to check which lifts are available where.
